I took pictures for The Effort, my husband's band, a few weeks ago. They recently recorded some songs in Nashville and are finishing up their EP... which will be available soon! Here are some of my favorites. These are my favorites. No how many women can say their husband can do the splits? And jump that high :)

Festival of Faith & Music 2009

Darin and I had the opportunity to attend the Festival of Faith & Music for the first time last weekend at Calvin College. I stumbled across the festival because my favorite band, Over the Rhine was playing at it Saturday night. The whole weekend was incredible. Great music, workshops and we met so many fantastic people.

The pictures below were from Saturday afternoon when Darin had the opportunity to play with Lenny Smith and some other great musicians (see a few of their websites below). I sang along and even played the tambourine :)
